mCURA Interactive EMR module is a comprehensive and feature-rich next generation application for doctors and clinical secretaries. The module captures past history, vital signs, patient specific critical clinical parameters with plotted abnormal occurrences & trends, previous medical advice and diagnosis entry, lab reports and diagnostic images etc. Powered by mCURA Smart OPD, the Interactive EMR module incorporates evidence-based best practices and saves a lot of time while ensuring a more efficient and informed diagnosis. The flagship product is available only on the App Store for iPad for enhanced security.

Adaptive EMR
The module allows easy retrieval of patient information anytime anywhere and refers to it during the patient’s next visit. Based on doctor authorisation, a subset of the patient records can be flexibility sent to print as e-visit summary / e-prescription. This also helps the patients to carry their records digitally in the mobile and share.

Speciality-specific & Personalised templates
A highly intuitive interface enables pre-populated templates and personalised favourites for creating patient notes and entire progress records. Templates are fully customisable with quick clicks and type-and-save options for specialty-specific and per doctor specific personalisation. Therefore, speciality specific physical and systemic examination can be built on-the-fly enhancing ease of management and distinguishing progress status. Diagnosis documentation is based on built-in updated ICD codes. The module offers customisable prescription templates and drug index references that is retrieved at point of care without opening multiple sites. Drug database and stock is updated in real-time from back-office inventory applications. Commonly used medications can be listed as favourites for preferred drugs advise by doctors.

Augmented patient records
As differentiators, mCURA Interactive EMR provides the option within the module to capture pictures of wound and visual specifics, or record video of patient condition and tag it in patient record. Comments as text or mark in any various different colours in those pictures enhance the captured information while sharing with other doctors for further diagnosis or opinion. Both images and videos of clinical conditions can be compared in side-by-side window insets.

Patient education
Also available in the Library template for the patient education section that helps store standard explanatory diagrams with common conditions. Doctors can maintain medical advice as a video / audio library and conveniently call it when there is a need to educate patients better. Explanatory diagrams and images can be part of printed visit summary for patients to refer at home and follow instructions correctly. This helps to choose and attach personalised content to patients which is available to the patients mobile device directly.

Virtual OPD
Additionally mCURA Interactive EMR empowers doctors to efficiently manage physical and virtual OPDs within the same tool. The Queue management section allows to view appointments for the day and connect with patients for video-consultation powered by mCURA Virtual OPD services. It enables a single-window that takes care of entire patient management by assisting in digitisation of patient past / family / health conditions, old record retrievals, recording patient current prescriptions and other advice digitally. Thereby patients can communicate with doctors from the comfort of their home and have access to all records easily.

Clinical Informatics service
As an optional service, we offer “Clinical Informatics Secretary”, who assist in digitisation of clinical information by preparing visit summary and updating patient records. Aided by the versatility of mCURA Interactive EMR module, the Clinical Secretary can considerably reduce workload for doctors, so that practitioners can focus more on patients than on time-consuming administrative tasks.
